Would appreciate a few good vibes sent in the direction of Ghost's father. He's just found out he is seriously ill. There is only one thing worse than being seriously ill and far away from home, and that's being far away from someone you love who is seriously ill. So some vibes for my boy would be appreciated too.

Heavens, has it been that long since I last updated? Well, I've lost just over a staggering 9 
since then, despite my best attempts to lure them back on with creme caramel tart and the like. And if those cheeky boys at RMIT don't stop twisting my arm to have a beer with them, the little buggers (the , not the cheeky RMIT boys) will be climbing back on soon!

I'm so sorry. I know from just having my parents 2000 miles away how hard it can be to feel helpless. But I'm sure that however he manages to stay in touch--cards, calls, emails, etc--will matter a lot to his dad.

I know how hard it is to be a distance away when a parent is seriously ill.
All you can do is keep in touch and hope.
