I'm adhering to a program of plausible denial, but here are a few things that shouldn't get me into too much trouble.
I live here "Situated in the cosmopolitan inner south east, Miss Tree's house of many doors is poised between the bohemian charm of St. Kilda and the sophisticated chic of Chapel Street, in terms of both location and character. So well situated is it that a visitor would have no trouble finding more than enough to keep them entertained for a reasonable stay without ever needing recourse to public transport, let alone a car.
For those days when the stresses of international travel, or too much indulgence in the local nightlife begin catching up with the guest, your hostess maintains an extensive library of both books and audio visual materials well suited to a relaxing day in.
The decor is modern, bright and sophisticated and all rooms have enough cupboard space to stage a 19th century French farce. This is coupled with a bathroom of Roman proportions and a whimsically laid out living area.
The cuisine is of the finest standard and this correspondent can heartily recommend the sticky date pudding, which is to die for.
Oh, and did I mention the cupboards?"
Thanks, Reg. This is what some of it looks like.
I'm an Aries/Taurus cusp rat baby.
Yes, people really call me Tree. the 'LadyMiss' was just to distinguish me from the rest of the hippies on the net and is a nice little play on words, too. I've also been known as LadyMissRed, but that is only when I'm feeling misunderstood.
I'm an information designer by profession, a belly dancer by passion and a thingie by the light of the silvery moon.
I have been belly dancing now since 1996. I don't have a regular restaurant gig because the dance is something I do for pleasure and I don't want to look on it as a job. so I content myself with dancing in parades and at festivals.
If you want to catch me performing (and you're going to be in Melbourne), drop me an email and I'll let you know when my next gig is. If you want pictures or video, you'll just have to content yourself with this.
And if you were looking for a photo...
I'm also a thingie collector. I don't think I'll ever get the full set (thingies are worse than Pokemon), but so far I have collected Reg, Morningstar, Mute, Jinx, Lucy Anne, Margret (Dreaming), Nightwalker, Ivory, Morgana, Sheri, Michelle, Thorn, Ananda, Malkovich (Creativetype's gnome), Sir Bastard, Chris Shumway, Tyg, Kari, West, Pam, Endless, Delerium, Kali Nichta, Sally, Culfin, Maria, Loz, Gaz, Cassie, Bill and Matthew. There's a list of my thingie collection stories on the home page.
Due to the amount of comment spam I'm receiving on old entires, comments are now closed for this entry. Please feel free to add a comment on a more recent post or drop me an email!
